Arranger Kenichi Tsunoda’s big band has been one of the top jazz orchestras in Japan since its formation in 1990. This double volume set is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Kenichi Tsunoda Big Band, includes the two band’s performance, recorded live in Tokyo in June & November 2014 and “Dedicated to 4 Big Band Leaders”. Both concerts have particularly impressive for the wide range of the arrangements, the band’s musicianship, and the individual solos.
