Kunihiko Sugano is a Japanese jazz pianist. Starting from the 1950s, he played in the Tokyo Jazzscene with George Kawaguchi’s “The Big 4”, and Isao Suzuki, among others. Portrait: The World Of Kunihiko Sugano is a lovely solo work from this really great player who hits some warmly soulful grooves in this mid 70s set.
